Why Savourful?

My story is simple ... I became increasingly tired of buying shop bought mass-produced food that just didn't taste good. The list of additives and ingredients mind boggling.

There have been so many events I have hosted or attended only to find the variety of buffet produce very disappointing.

When comparing a supermarket brand to buying similar in a lovely local bakery the price difference can vary widely, as can the quality... so why can't we have the best produce at the best price?

Lots of buffets are bland, shop bought products which are tasteless - not at Savourful - there is so much that is hand made and sourced from local suppliers

Sausage rolls

Sausage rolls - the most classic British star of any occasion. Warm, flaky puff pastry encasing locally sourced butchers prime sausagemeat with a hint of seasoning.

Cheese & Bacon Turnovers

Classic British baking at its best! Savoury and packed with mature cheese and smoky bacon yet surprisingly light - a great picnic choice.

Scotch Eggs

The king of a picnic, party or packed lunch...these scotch eggs are made with free-range localy sourced eggs, slightly runny in the middle (of course!) encased in local butchers sausagement, hint of seasoning and finished with home made sourdough and wholemeal breadcrumbs.

Grafty Green Farmers Market

Every Friday 1pm - 3 pm in the Village Hall

Savourful can be found at Grafty Green Farmer's Market every Friday selling all the best produce (bacon & cheese turnovers/sausage rolls/scotch eggs/cheese straws/pasties/quiche etc...)
